The Business Case for Eco-Functioning Spaces

Research & Education

Status: Ongoing

UER is actively working to assemble existing research and to compile our own about the economic benefits and value of incorporating Eco-Functioning Spaces on private properties in and around urban areas, as well as the additional value of using organizations like UER to steward these spaces for maximum environmental, social, and economic value.  This project is part of UER’s larger educational program to teach people about integrated environmental responses to global and regional environmental challenges, and the ways those responses can yield social and environmental benefits.
